I am a computational geodynamicist. My research interests lie in the development and the use of computational tools to study the multi-physical and thermo-chemico-mechanical processes that occur in different geodynamic systems.
A first aspect of my research concerns the investigation of the deep subduction dynamics and its impact on overriding plate deformation. I have notably developed a novel method to study the coupled lithosphere/asthenosphere dynamics in subduction zones.
I am also interested in understanding the coupled fluids/mantle dynamics (i.e. two-phase flow) both at subduction zones and at mid-ocean ridges.
Currently, I am a postdoc fellow at Univ. Montpellier. My project focuses in the assessment of the dynamical evolution of the Lesser Antilles subduction zone during the Cenozoic and its impact on the Caribbean Plate topography.
